Our NewsLetters
March 2026
Tusome Africa partners with schools and communities across Uganda to strengthen early learning and improve children’s reading outcomes. Our work focuses on supporting community-based early childhood education centres and developing active, accessible school libraries where reading becomes part of everyday learning.
Through training paraeducators, working alongside teachers, and engaging local communities, we help build practical and sustainable systems that support children’s development over time. By embedding learning within schools and communities, we are creating consistent opportunities for children to build foundational skills, grow in confidence, and thrive..
December 2025
Tusome Africa’s 2025 newsletter highlights a year of growth and impact in early childhood education and literacy. The organisation strengthened ECE centres in Iganga and Wakiso, with some becoming sustainable through community ownership. It also trained paraeducators to improve teaching, classroom management, and child safeguarding, ensuring better learning environments for children.
Tusome Africa expanded its library programme by distributing 3,000 books and strengthening reading culture through key partnerships. With continued growth and community support, the organisation plans to expand its reach and improve education quality in 2026.
